Please note our prices as quoted on the web site start at £380.00 + VAT

The materials used in the preparation of Sheffield Memorials are of natural stone and therefore subject to variation in colour, grain, structure and veining.

Prices include the following on all the memorials: Flower Container – Terrazzo Foundation, Concrete Foundation – All Lettering – 10 Year Guarantee

Doncaster and Rotherham Memorial Centre owned and run by Jake Davis is BRAMM registered – this means that the Company is listed on the Register of Accredited Memorial Masons.

Doncaster and Rotherham Memorial Centre owned and run by Jake Davis is NAMM registered which means it has met the criteria and is therefore approved as a Registered and Accredited Business with the National Association of Memorial Masons Register of Qualified Fixers.

Memorials must be fitted to the NAMM COWP which reflects BS8415 and in accordance to local cemetery rules. If the rules conflict it must be reported to the cemetery supervisor in writing.

Memorials must be fit for purpose for purpose for a period of 6 years to comply with the sales of good act: however, NAMM members extend this guarantee for a period of 10 years

Lettering; the period of time gilding / colouring of lettering can be guaranteed is variable depending on the situation of the memorial, therefore customers should be made aware that it may not last for the period of time covered by the guarantee and may need periodic renewal.

For example; under trees, lichen, mould or the use of incorrect cleaning products

Most paint suppliers will only give a 12-month guarantee. Therefore, NAMM recommend that this is a minimum period of time lettering should be guaranteed and any period over that time is at the discretion of the mason

The workmanship of the memorial can be guaranteed (with the exception of the lettering) however the stone itself is a natural material and cannot be guaranteed.

The stability of the Memorial however can be guaranteed in conjunction with the current ministry of justice guidelines; however, any local hazards should be taken into account   at the time of fixing a memorial and any issues should be reported to the burial authority before work commences.

Subsidence can be insured through a Stoneguard insurance policy.

Stoneguard insurance cover is “all risk” and includes vandalism

NAMM recommend that members encourage their customers to take out insurance

Settlement Terms are strictly 14 days from the date of invoice.

Doncaster and Rotherham Memorial Centre owned and run by Jake Davis reserves the right to charge interest at 5% per month or part month on balance overdue.

All memorials and goods remain the property of Doncaster and Rotherham Memorial Centre until paid for in full.

The layout of the inscription may change to fit the chosen memorial. The final layout will be at the Stonemason’s discretion.
